BI_BOBJ_300 Business Objects for Power Users
Business Objects is a new reporting environment being offered on the myUK portal. It uses a web interface with an interactive-mode for power users, and a display mode for end users. It supports conditional formatting, alerts, and drill-downs. Business Objects also provides the ability to join multiple data sources to create ad-hoc reports (not taught in this course, however).This course focuses on how to run, modify, and create a Business Objects report, including an overview of the reporting and editing options that are available. Topics include:
- An overview of the Business Objects screens
- Modifying an existing report
- Adding objects
- Using filters
- Creating a new report
This course is restricted to Power Users who have it on their training plan. If you feel you have a need to take this course, please check with your Area Security Officer. It also is a prerequisite for future Business Objects courses.
Prerequisites: UK_100 and BI_BOBJ_200 and any level 200 Overview course (For SLCM access, you will need to have taken SLCM_200).
To receive BOBJ Power User access, you will need to successfully complete BI_BOBJ_301 BOBJ Lab for Power Users.
