Regular Position Budget Only Layout Tutorial
The Non-Regular Position Budget layout must be used for budget entry ONLY for positions that are either pooled, defined as non-regular (e.g., temp, students, etc.), or do not participate in the salary proposal process (e.g., clinical faculty, Ag extension agents, county secretaries). Criteria for this layout are based on positions in a table located and maintained within the IRIS system. If the table needs to be modified due to either a position appearing on the layout that should not be there or a position not appearing on the layout that should be there, notify the OPBPA office.

BPS Regular Position Budget Only Layout Steps
- Log into the myUK portal.
- Click on the BPS Budget Prep link.
- Click on the Campus Regular Position Budget Only link.
- Click in the Department field and enter 7H100.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Be patient. It will take a few moments to process.
- Click in the 2009 Future Budget field and enter 103650.52.
- Click on the Calculate Benefit button.
- Be patient. It will take a few moments to process.
- Click on the Bi-Weekly/Hourly Staff tab.
- Enter 34585.37.
- Click on the Calculate Benefit button.
- Click on the Save button.
- Click on the Exit button to leave the layout.
- Click on the Yes button.
- Click on the Close button to end the simulation.
- You have completed this tutorial. Please close the tutorial window.
