      IRIS Training Plan Submission Policy
  • All new training plans and training plan changes must be submitted using the online IRIS Training Plan Request Form.
    • A training plan for SLCM access only must be submitted directly to IRIS Training by the employee's designated College Contact.
    • A training plan for all other access (with or without SLCM access) must be submitted by the employee's Business Officer to the appropriate Area Security Officer (ASO) delegate for approval. The ASO delegate will forward the training plan to IRIS Training upon their approval.
    • Training plan requests not submitted by the ASO delegate or College Contact will be sent back to the requester with the request to submit the plan through the ASO or College Contact.
    • For Faculty and Teaching Assistants needing access for grading, class rolls, advisor holds, and overrides only, the designated College Contact must send a regular e-mail directly to the SLCM Team requesting the appropriate access.

  • All training plans must contain the requester's full name (not nickname) and e-mail address.

  • All training plans must contain the employee's full name (not nickname), Link Blue ID (AD or MC), Person ID, Personnel Number, 5-digit UK Department code (such as 3J510), and e-mail address.

  • All training plans must contain the courses and/or HR Role(s) the employee is required to take.
    • Do not submit requests which state "please give user#2 the same plan as user#1". You must submit the required courses and/or HR role they need.
    • A "Comments/Special Instructions" field is available for specific requests, such as back office classes and roles, request for access to a single transaction code, etc.

  • Requests involving a specific transaction to be added to a user's role will be forwarded to the appropriate IRIS functional lead for approval.
    • These requests may take longer to implement.

  • Any requests that are received in any other manner different than the above will be sent back to the person who made the request, and they will be asked to submit the form properly.
