UK_100 IRIS Awareness and Navigation
This course is intended to give the participants an introductory, high-level overview of the Integrated Resource
Information System (IRIS), which is used to manage the University's administrative and academic business needs with the
following key system modules: Financials (FI), Grants Management (GM), Procurement/Materials Management (MM),
Human Resources/Payroll (HR), Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
This Level 100 course will cover IRIS access and security issues, the training process, basic navigational functions,
system-wide concepts, and how to obtain help during and after training.
UK_100 serves as a prerequisite course for all module overview (Level 200) and role-based (Level 300) training courses.
This course can be completed as an on-line web course at
any time convenient to the participant, or in an instructor-led, classroom environment once a month. Both course options are
identical in content and will satisfy the Level 100 course completion requirement. Register for the monthly instructor-led course via
myTraining Center.
Follow the steps below to complete as a web course. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the IRIS Training.
- Submit the UK_100 Set-up Form in order to be set up in training system.
Incomplete information cannot be processed. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once this process is complete.
Within 24 hours of receiving the e-mail confirmation from IRIS Training, you should be able to access and sign the Statement of Responsibility (Step
2 below), and it will provide you access to the Training Sandbox on the myUK Launch Pad, which is required to complete
this web course.
- Sign your Statement of Responsibility.
NOTE: You must have an AD account to sign your Statement of Responsibility.
If you have signed your Statement of Responsibility previously, you do not need to
sign it a second time.
- Review the UK_100 IRIS Awareness & Navigation presentation in either the PowerPoint or pdf version:
- Print the UK_100 IRIS Awareness and Navigation Practice Guide and
follow the exercises, entering the answers on the UK_100 Exercises and Course
Completion Notification form. Click on the SUBMIT UK_100 Exercises/Notification button at the bottom of the form to submit
it to IRIS Training.
- Provide feedback on the course by submitting the UK_100 IRIS Awareness and Navigation Course Evaluation.
